Seven days in London

Having been here a week, I can safely say I have enjoyed every moment of London so far. It has been a full week of seeing people, places and drinking lots of tea. Most of it around a homely kitchen table, for which I am very thankful.

Waterloo is a lovely place and although I think I’ll end up in East London it has been wonderful staying so central. Running along the Thames at 8pm? Not too shabby.

I’m getting into the remote working gig and have found a place I love called TimberYard. They already recognise me and bring me Rooibos which is nice.

From Saturday I will be cat-sitting a little beast called Oscar in Earlsfield. I’m not sure how I feel about the regularity with which cats seem to feature in my life increasing as I approach thirty. But hey. They are good companions.

London, you can stay.
